Media Policies and Procedures

To give journalists the best possible service, while maintaining the standards set to protect donor/recipient confidentiality, CBC/CTS public relations representatives have established the following guidelines for scheduling interviews, shooting video or taking photographs:

  • A representative from the public relations/marketing staff will arrange interviews with CBC/CTS staff upon request from media representatives.
  • Advance notice is appreciated when requesting an interview so that detailed arrangements can be made.
  • Media representatives must be accompanied at all times by a CBC/CTS public relations/marketing staff member or other designated person at a CBC/CTS fixed site location or at CBC/CTS sponsored events.
  • To protect the confidentiality of our donors/recipients, publication consent forms must be signed before any interviews, photography or video recording can take place.
