Community Blood Center invites you to a Labor Day Tailgate party on Friday, September 4 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Come register to donate blood and enjoy tailgate food and play some cornhole at CBC-Dayton, 349 S. Main St. Early morning donors can enjoy bagels! All registered donors will also receive a FREE grey “Lifesaver” T-shirt and be entered for the chance to win a 2009 Honda Civic. (Must be 18 to win.) For official rules, visit www.givingblood.org. Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 16 years of age (16 year old donors must have parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically.
